Patient Survey Results 2008-9
A Department of Health patient survey was carried out to assess what patients thought
of the access to the Health Professionals.
2 areas of access were looked
at
1. 48 hour access to a GP (how easy was it to book an appointment within
48 hrs of phoning)
2. Advanced booking (how easy was it to book an appointment with a Doctor
more than 2 days ahead)
Results
In total 1148 forms were distributed.
286 completed forms were received = 25%
1. Satisfaction with 48hr access
Total number of responses = 171
Number satisfied = 157
Percentage satisfied = 92%
2. Satisfaction with advanced booking
Total number of responses = 142
Number satisfied = 134
Percentage satisfied = 94%
