Other Staff
The Surgery has a number of attached staff including a Mental Health Practitioner, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Dietician who each work in house throughout different days of the week.
The Community Nurses
The community nurses are part of the practice team. They provide care for people who are unable to attend the Surgery should they require dressings to wounds, injections, or assessment for other care at home.
They also provide information about their care and liaise with other professionals on their behalf as necessary. The prevention of complications and deterioration in peoples health are part of their role. They also help people maintain as healthy and pain free a life style as possible.
The Health Visitor
The health visitors are nurses who have a variety of functions which includes the promotion of health particularly in preschool children.
